Short Bio

Rev. Dr. Susan Eagle is the minister of Grace United Church in Barrie

and chair of the Shining Waters Social and Ecological Justice Commission for the United Church of Canada. She also serves as chair of ISARC, a provincial interfaith coalition that advocates for social policy reform. Formerly, she served the Delaware-Kilworth Pastoral Charge and the ELUCO outreach ministry in London. She was a London City Councillor for four terms, from 1997 to 2010, working on homelessness and affordable housing policy. She has also worked on the Board of the Canadian Council of Churches and the Church and Society committee of the World Council of Churches.

Rev. Eagle was appointed chair of the Busby Board earlier this year.
