City of Barrie Mayoral Candidates Forum

Location: held in-person at the Salvation Army Barrie Citadel, 151 Lillian Crescent

Invited Mayoral Candidates: Andrew Gordon, Weldon Hachey, Rob Haverson, Gerry Marshall, Mike McCann, Alex Nuttall, Barry Ward

Format: Each attending candidate will be given a chance to introduce themselves, and share their three priorities for the City. They will then each answer three set questions (sent in advance), chosen by CARP and Engage Barrie. After this, we will be asking as many curated audience questions as time will allow – please be prepared to submit your questions at the beginning of the meeting.

Accessibility: The Citadel is wheelchair accessible. Listening devices are available.

No campaign posters, banners, flags, etc., will be permitted in the audience during the debate – there will tables set up in the hall outside where candidates may leave campaign literature, and chat with the public after the Forum.
